I recommend to anyone
It really makes you think of what you will be in a few decades. This isn’t a far off reality; we will probably LIVE in Deus Ex: Human Revolution within our lifetime (though maybe not in 2027… try 2050). A lot of the game highlights what is true in our world, and what will be further augmented in the next. Ever notice the extensive amount of hacks, the EASE of the hacks, as spoken from from interviews of hackers? With new technology, you don’t even need a computer anymore to hack even the most advanced locks. Did you think Purity First was farfetched? Even today’s research for things like synthetic eyes has come under fire. Besides, how would you feel if you were ruled by people who could break your spine without even trying (AKA- isn’t that kinda like… not having a choice anymore?). The story itself is very good, the gameplay is also solid. But I still can’t get over the unrealistic chances of how random vents, often not even connected to a larger air flow, simply CONNECT rooms. On your first overseas visit, the conclusion will have you sneaking through a vent (don’t want to spoil ANY story) as a gameplay option, not story. But that scenario is practically impossible without the vent. I also can’t forgive how the 9mm pistol is more powerful than ANY other gun when fighting normal enemies. It’s a 9mm pistol, not a 50 cal! I also don’t like the boss fights. They’re just tedious, unless you have a stun gun. Then it’s just pathetically funny. I recommend getting it on Steam. If you ever switch to a Windows PC, you’ll still be able to play it. Yes, DXHR is available on mac through Steam, but you don’t need separate purchases for Windows and Mac. Besides, Steam=Mac App Store x100. It has every worthwhile game from the App Store and then a LOT more.
